Ah, its Sunday.
I’m sitting on the outdoor swing. Its so nice out here, really relaxing. Actually Bisa told me the other night that the beach is only about 800 meters away which is explains the nice summer breezes coming in, in the afternoons. I think I could fall asleep on here.
I’ve been trying to get back into working mode. Been a bit of a struggle. I love my job and I love being in the classroom teaching, actively engaging with the kids but I dislike all the paperwork and organisation involved. I just want to get in there and do it! Ah, its all good, I’ll get there in the end!
Its been an good couple weeks since I’ve been back home and things have been fun, busy and relaxing all at the same time. Its been good just catching up with everyone, going for long walks along the beach with friends, eating out and catching up on sleep. We’ve had some awesome guest speakers at church and things are pretty exciting right now with whats been happening and all the new people who are being added every weekend. All new changes for my powercell home group! Yay! Learning to be flexible and developing new relationships with people. So great to be a part of Sunset Coast, absolutely love it!
Went into work this week just past for the first time and things are pretty exciting there too. I spent the day unpacking my school stuff onto my new desk and just sorting out some sort of filing system. The staff office is in a bit of a chaotic mess right now after all the shifting. We have about 10 new staff joining our school family and we are building a new auditorium which will house my new media classroom! I’m waiting for my 11 new Imacs to turn up any day now – Very exciting! My classroom has ‘ocean glimpses’ too apparently according to Matt. Haha, nice!
Next week is going to be full on (as with everything else in my life it seems!) with a heap of planning to do for school ( I really must stop procrastinating!), friends (maybe going jet skiing this week?!), ballet practice and vocal training ( A gift from my lovely friend Jasmine!). I’m really looking forward to this next season in life, I’m enjoying being free.
