How do you put a dollar value on something that has totally transformed your life? Thats what I want to know.

My church is taking a love offering for my senior pastors, Pastor Gerad and Sue. Next weekend will be their 20th year in ministry and its going to be a huge celebration. We really want to bless them because in so many ways they have given of their lives, time and love into sowing into so many people at Sunset Coast and all over the world.

I know I am definitely one of those people who has benefited from their ministry and I know without a doubt I wouldn’t be who I am now doing what I do without coming to Sunset and sitting under their teaching and leadership.

So here we are taking up a love offering to bless them. I really struggled to think of what to put in the offering. How do I put a monetary amount to that? I don’t think I can. No amount really feels sufficient. I guess knowing its a token of appreciation has to be enough. There are some things in life I will eternally be grateful for.
